 編號為223的警察（金城武）失戀后患上失戀綜合癥，在與金發女殺手（林青霞）擦肩而過又離奇相遇并有了一晚溫情后，原本以為包括“愛情”在內的所有東西都有保質期的他意外地迎來心靈的短暫溫暖。可是，他們的愛情還是結束了。快餐店新來的女招待阿菲（王菲）愛上了時常光顧快餐店的編號 為663的警察（梁朝偉），因拆了他的女友（周嘉玲）留在快餐店給他的“分手” 信，阿菲知曉了他的心情，偷拿到他的鑰匙趁他不在時常潛入他家，一邊夢游一邊悄悄地改變他的生活，終在被他撞見時令其感受到情感的回歸。然而，這才是他們愛情的開始。

　　《探魔導師》將背景設定在一個由十大財團控制的架空歷史下的摩登市。洪冰瑤飾演的是個性別模糊能穿梭時空的魔導師T，因被迫卷入組織權利斗爭，成為組織的犧牲品。T協助警察破案來實現自己的人生價值。在調查“人類失蹤案”的過程中，T發現人類失蹤與畸形科技“潘多拉”有關，該科技利用人類原罪使人類互相欺詐謀殺，試圖讓整個摩登市陷入混亂，隨著線索一步步逼近，T漸漸意識到社會的種種混亂由十大財團操縱，一切的根源似乎直指給人類帶來巨大益處的人工智能，一場人類與人工智能的生存爭奪戰由此拉開。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
