  故事發(fā)生在位于伊利諾斯州的哈登菲爾德小鎮(zhèn)。臭名昭著的殺人狂邁克爾(泰勒·梅恩 Tyler Mane 飾)終于倒在了少女勞利(絲柯·泰勒-考普頓 Scout Taylor-Compton 飾)的槍下,然而之后他的尸體卻神秘的消失了,與此同時(shí),在醫(yī)院里,出現(xiàn)了一個(gè)身份詭異而又神秘的病人,又一場血腥的殺戮即將拉開序幕。  幸運(yùn)的勞利再一次的從邁克爾的屠刀下死里逃生,可是,巨大的陰影始終籠罩在她的周圍,因?yàn)樗溃~克爾一天不死,就總會(huì)再度回到她的身邊。一晃眼一年過去,萬圣節(jié)又要來了,與此同時(shí)將要舉辦的,是死難者的紀(jì)念會(huì)。勞利能夠感覺到,一雙熟悉的眼睛正在默默的注視著她。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night.   However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements.   Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
