在情色片這個(gè)領(lǐng)域中，薩曼京無(wú)疑可以稱(chēng)之為大師。膾炙人口的名作就有愛(ài)你九周半/Nine暫無(wú)內(nèi)容1/2暫無(wú)內(nèi)容Weeks、野蘭花/Wild暫無(wú)內(nèi)容Orchid等，但更值得一提的就是紅鞋日記系列，這個(gè)電視系列自1992年推出首部后，至2002共拍了19部，第一部由X檔案系列男主角大衛(wèi)杜楚尼主演，為單獨(dú)的一個(gè)故事，之后其角色轉(zhuǎn)換為讀信人角色，其它各部均由3個(gè)小故事組成，深刻剖析女性面對(duì)性與愛(ài)的心理。其作品風(fēng)格與另一大師丁圖布拉斯相比更加唯美，也更易為人所接受。

But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
