　　直播主瑪菲司一家抵達即將開幕的度假村舉辦活動，然而他們從未料到，迎接他們的竟是恐怖的降臨。為了揭開真相，阿序和好友天仁召集了一群網友，再次前往度假村探險，并希望通過這次探險在網絡上獲取流量。殊不知，他們即將卷入一場自1960年延續至今、從未停止過的邪惡祭典。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　清朝末年，歐洲足球隊海盜隊來華時和駐華外國使館聯隊進行了一場比賽。比賽引來了大批民眾和朝廷官員觀看，海盜隊獲勝后，隊長哈里為博取女友詹尼一笑，竟然用力將球踢向圍觀的群眾和朝廷官員。就在一眾外國人哈哈大笑之時，人群中竄出一名大漢，他叫周天（張豐毅 飾），他以高強的球技回敬了哈里。詹尼見此教唆哈里向中方挑戰，于是一場中外足球賽大戰在即。原來周天是一位曾留學牛津大學并曾擔任清朝翰林院編修的進步青年，他深知中、外足球水平的據，單憑一己之力很難為中國人出一口氣。于是，周天踏上了訪尋民間球俠、為國增光的道路。
