　　美發(fā)師紀(jì)阿開（張學(xué)友）、服裝設(shè)計(jì)師大眼龍（莫少聰）和風(fēng)水師賴布丁（周星馳）三個(gè)死黨合伙開了一家新潮美發(fā)店，不料開業(yè)當(dāng)天就與隔壁理發(fā)店老板發(fā)生爭執(zhí)，幸得店老板女兒亞英（張敏）及時(shí)出手風(fēng)波平息，過程中，三人皆被亞英魅力吸引，為贏其芳心，開始頻頻登其家門獻(xiàn)殷勤。　　某次晚餐聚會(huì)后，三人爛醉與亞英誤睡一室，導(dǎo)致亞英懷孕，為與亞英一起生活，三人爭先恐后將準(zhǔn)父親一職往自己身上攬，又因三人血型相同，醫(yī)院也無法驗(yàn)出誰在冒名，亞英父母決定先考察三人表現(xiàn)，為爭當(dāng)最佳女婿，三人使盡渾身解數(shù)展開激烈角逐。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
