Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 人偶之家

　　故事主角是失去五歲女兒芽衣的鈴木佳惠（長澤雅美）和丈夫忠彥（瀨戶康史）。沉浸在悲傷中的佳惠，在古董市場找到一個與芽衣非常相似的可愛洋娃娃，并開始呵護它，逐漸恢復了活力。但是，佳惠和忠彥有了新的女兒真衣之后，兩人就不再關注這個洋娃娃了。漸漸地，五歲大的真衣開始和洋娃娃玩耍，這個家庭接二連三地發生奇怪的事情。佳惠他們試圖擺脫這個洋娃娃，但無論扔掉還是供奉，這個洋娃娃卻莫名其妙地回來了！洋娃娃隱藏的秘密是什么？以及即將揭開的震撼真相是什么——！
