南相美,柳承龍在首爾求學(xué)的女大學(xué)生康喜真（南相美 飾）每日奔波勞碌，疲憊不堪。這日她接到母親的電話，竟得知妹妹邵真（沈恩京 飾）失蹤，下落不明。她匆匆趕回老家，然而母親執(zhí)迷不悟，以為只靠虔誠(chéng)的祈禱邵真就能返回家中。面對(duì)母親的麻木，喜真只得報(bào)警，但警官泰煥（柳承龍 飾）只將其當(dāng)作一般的離家出走處理。 不久，一個(gè)女子在喜真家的窗前吊頸并墜樓而死。泰煥從死者房間找到一封遺書，其中甚至提到邵真的名字。泰煥無(wú)法從喜真母親那里得到任何線索，只得從小區(qū)管理員那里探知線索。卻得知邵真竟一曾被鬼附身，整個(gè)案件開始朝著詭異的方向發(fā)展……
好像一切都很糟糕

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
