滅火寶貝

　　一群直播團隊挑戰進入一座鬧鬼的老宅，很快發現，眼前的恐怖竟比他們預料的還要真實可怕。隨著一波又一波的驚悚事件，他們必須在恐懼中掙扎前行，力圖在這座死亡之屋中活到天亮。

　　一名男子因獵槍走火而身亡，幾乎所有的人都認為這是一起意外，只有一向風格強硬的檢事霞夕子（澤口靖子 飾）倍感蹊蹺。她執意深入調查，但是最終一無所獲。與此同時，名叫安川初音（石野洋子 飾）的女子來到夕子老家的寺院上香，她此行的目的是悼念一個因被誤解而意外死亡的男子。安川種種反常舉動引起了夕子的注意，她旋即又對安川展開調查，卻無意間發現這兩起意外事件的關聯。層層迷霧漸漸散盡，真相逐漸浮出水面……　　本片根據夏樹靜子的原著小說《路上の奇禍》改編，是3週連続　罪と女系列的第2部，另外兩部分別為《破婚的條件》和《魔術的耳語》。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
