　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

　　公元794年，日本桓武天皇時期，京都長岡被其胞弟早良親王怨靈詛咒，天災人禍不斷。桓武天皇被迫遷都平安京，由此開啟四百年平安時代序幕。彼時權貴內部斗爭激烈，人民生活疾苦，世間因此怨靈叢生，人、鬼與怪物屏息同棲。隸屬于宮廷陰陽寮的陰陽師們，作為平衡天、地、人、鬼間矛盾的存在，自此活躍在歷史舞臺上，其中最為耀眼的便是身世成謎的安倍晴明（野村萬齋飾）。右近衛中將源博雅（伊藤英明飾）受托拜訪安倍晴明，被所目睹的奇異景象及晴明的個人魅力深深折服；晴明亦被博雅正直的品德吸引。故事便從兩人宿命相識，結下珍貴情誼開始。　　宮廷內近來異事頻發。左大臣藤原師輔之女誕下敦平親王，嬰兒降世卻身負詛咒。晴明招來蜜蟲（今井繪理子飾）和神秘女子青音（小泉今日子飾），與博雅一同化解惡咒，卻反遭誣陷。原來一切皆是陰陽頭道尊（真田廣之飾）所為。他利用左右大臣間矛盾與后妃間爭寵頻生事端，更欲召喚出150年前的最強怨靈早良親王，將平安京徹底顛覆……　　影片根據夢枕貘《陰陽師》系列小說改編。
