焦嬌（湯唯 飾）15歲就來到了澳門，過著顛沛流離的生活，之后成為了賭場公關。羅大牛（吳秀波 飾）早年來到美國，一番摸爬滾打，如今已經(jīng)是小有名氣的加州房地產(chǎn)經(jīng)紀人，事業(yè)一帆風順的他在情場上自然步步為贏，是公認的鉆石王老五。 一本名為《查令十字街84號》的書讓這一對生活毫無交集的男女走到了一起，兩人通過電子郵件進行交往，透過種種誤會和波折，最終發(fā)現(xiàn)彼此是自己的靈魂伴侶。在此期間，焦嬌徘徊在鄭義（陸毅 飾）、鄧先生（王志文 飾）和詩人（祖峰 飾）之間不知何去何從，而羅大牛則在同華裔老夫妻林平生（秦沛 飾）和唐秀懿（吳彥姝 飾）的交往當中逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)了人生的道義。

In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become cut off from the outside world. They are forced to do battle against these uninvited visitors. With the help of some of the residents Zoe and Patrick begin unravelling the mystery and soon discover it is not all as it seems. 西南偏南電影節(jié)劇情片競賽。 Nellie and Daisy attempt to escape the institution for delinquent girls in 1954 New Zealand, however not only are they caught, it triggers a relocation to a facility on a remote island. The duo become a trio as well-to-do Lou joins them, and life on the island takes shape under the command of devout Matron. The trio rail against the system, dubious of the benevolence of the bible and taking refuge in their blossoming friendship. It’s hard to reform girls who don’t believe they need reforming. However, a sense of doom settles in when experimental forms of punishment take place in the dead of night. Nellie and Daisy plot rebellion, but unexpectedly find themselves at odds with Lou, who is afraid to break the rules.
