Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 銀行搶劫案

　　本片根據真實歷史事件改編。　　1971年，黑人激進組織領導邁克爾X因販毒被控告，但因他一年前取得了英國皇室成員瑪格麗特公主的私密照片并以此要挾官方而被開釋。英國軍情五處工作人員提姆（Richard Lintern 飾）受命取回收藏在倫敦某銀行的這批照片。　　提姆物色到販毒女子瑪婷（Saffron Burrows 飾），要挾她搶劫銀行來為自己取得照片。瑪婷很快同以泰瑞（Jason Statham 飾）為首的幾個半職業罪犯或新人組成了計劃挖地道劫掠保險庫的團伙。　　泰瑞等人如愿將保險庫洗劫，但贓物卻讓他們坐立不安：涉及皇室成員的私密照片、銀行家行賄官員的賬本、高官們不可告人的齷齪愛好……由于一位無線電愛好者無意間聽到了他們作案時的對話內容，此案掀起軒然大波，泰瑞等人陷入了各種勢力爭奪的中心，他只能借助手上的證據苦苦周旋……
