男主邊小涯所在的門派，世世代代以捉妖為生。數千年前，一條巨蛇生有九頭，身附金光，經?；頌橐幻廊籼煜傻呐?，為禍世間，自稱為金蛇夫人。百姓生靈涂炭，終于捉妖師南華擊敗金蛇夫人，斬下其首，換來和平。但是，金蛇夫人身體雖亡，靈氣不滅，臨死前更是留下妖王再世的預言。禍亂后的數千年，鎮守金蛇夫人的弒妖殿發生動亂，一只神秘冥妖將封鎖金蛇夫人的神劍盜走，導致金蛇夫人靈力大泄。一只名叫曲靈的小妖臨危受命，肩負起了追回神劍的責任，但是曲靈靈力弱小，必須找到御劍閣的人才能一起降服金蛇于是男主邊小涯協同曲靈一起走上尋找神劍的路程。
