Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.  韓國首爾某個平凡的早上，廣播電臺Daily Topic節(jié)目的主持人尹英華（河正宇 飾）正就稅率改革與聽眾進行連線，這時一個自稱住在首爾昌信洞的普通工人樸魯圭打入電話，大肆抱怨超高的電費和相關(guān)部門對他的威脅。尹英華頗不耐煩，以偏離主題為由強行切斷電話。誰知連線無法單方面由電臺方面中斷，憤怒的樸魯圭繼續(xù)抱怨，并揚言炸掉漢江大橋。尹英華不以為然，進而慫恿對方想做就做，誰知話音剛落，窗外的麻浦大橋便炸作廢墟。大驚失色的尹英華很快冷靜下來，他決定利用這次難得的機會打一次事業(yè)的翻身仗。在他的主持下，針對恐怖分子的連線直播就此展開，無關(guān)良知的節(jié)目拉開帷幕……
