“月讀”是希望與夢想交會的虛擬空間，而舞臺幕布將緩緩升起，見證幾位少女在此譜寫短暫卻珍貴的相遇篇章。                                                                      　　不久的未來……                                                                      　　東京的 17 歲高中生酒寄彩葉過著非常忙碌的生活，努力在打工和學業之間尋找平衡。她的紓壓方式是觀看很有人氣的月見八千代直播，八千代管理名為“月讀”的線上虛擬空間。                                                                      　　彩葉時常光顧月讀，在那里可以體驗不同的人生，自由揮灑創意。她就靠著支持八千代度過空閑時間，還會玩戰斗游戲賺一點外快。有一天，在回家路上，彩葉發現一根電線桿閃耀著奇異光芒，沒想到電線桿里竟然憑空冒出一個可愛的寶寶。彩葉沒辦法隨手拋棄寶寶，只好把她抱回家，眼睜睜看著她迅速長成一個跟自己同齡的少女。                                                                      　　“你是輝耀姬嗎？”                                                                      　　這是你絕對不曾看過的輝耀姬物語。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
