好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.  1997年，只有6歲兒童智商的智障男子李龍久（柳成龍 飾）和可愛的女兒藝勝（葛素媛 飾）相依為命，生活雖然簡單清貧，卻充滿幸福。某天，執(zhí)著為女兒買美少女戰(zhàn)士書包的龍久意外卷入一起幼童誘拐奸殺案，而死者竟是警察局長的女兒。龍久懵懂無知，搞不清狀況，昏頭昏腦就被投入監(jiān)獄。在7號牢房中，聚集著走私犯蘇楊浩（吳達洙 飾）、詐騙犯崔春浩（樸元尚 飾）、通奸犯姜萬范（金正泰 飾）、恐嚇犯老徐（金基燦 飾）和搶劫犯申奉植（鄭萬植 飾）等五毒俱全的“社會渣滓”。龍久孩子般純潔的心漸漸感動了這幾個“大壞蛋”，他們甚至不惜冒險將藝勝帶入牢房與父親相會。黑暗冰冷的監(jiān)牢內(nèi)，7號牢房陽光滿滿……
