《女仆》是智利年輕導(dǎo)演賽巴斯丁;西瓦的第二部長(zhǎng)片電影。 故事的主人公是位服務(wù)了主人家23年的女傭人。智利女仆拉奎爾（卡特琳娜 ;薩維德拉 Catalina Saavedra 飾）是智利傳統(tǒng)中上階層家庭的傭人。她一個(gè)人照顧這一大家子，每天鬧鐘響起，開始忙碌的一天，作飯、洗衣、打掃，照顧三個(gè)被她寵壞的小男孩，及兩個(gè)與她作對(duì)的大女孩。她在這個(gè)家庭服務(wù)了23年，深知家中每個(gè)人的秘密，猶如這個(gè)家庭里的成員，連主人都要敬她三分。女主人體恤拉奎爾的辛勞，決定幫她找個(gè)助手。然而工作是拉奎爾生活的全部，這個(gè)領(lǐng)域根本容不得他人越雷池一步，她盡心機(jī)、耍盡手段，想盡辦法搞走新來的女仆。直到善良單純的新女仆露西的帶來，讓拉奎爾自我禁錮已久的心靈也開啟了一扇門。

In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
