1929年美國的愛德格教授因想了解性的奧秘，于是藉由金援著手進(jìn)行科學(xué)研究，一群男性進(jìn)行相當(dāng)前衛(wèi)的性討論，另外有兩位女性做速記。他嚴(yán)禁大家調(diào)情、開玩笑，一切都是嚴(yán)肅且科學(xué)的，但最后仍無法控制大家體內(nèi)荷爾蒙的作用，于是情緒被攪動了，x愛的溫度也升高了，很快地，行動取代了空談，情勢逆轉(zhuǎn)，他也成為自己實驗的主體，靈與欲的探索是否就此得到結(jié)論？
