　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

　　劉雅歷（林子祥 飾）是一名廣告公司高層，但感情生活并不如意——女友碧姬（關之琳 飾）與他分手了。本來就沉默寡言的雅歷更加孤寂傷痛了，生活依舊刻板平凡。　　后來他在一個合唱團里認識了一位極有天分的女孩巫慧敏（周慧敏 飾），本來打算對她多加照顧培訓，卻遭到慧敏母親朱麗娥（鄭裕玲 飾）的不滿，以為雅歷對自己年輕的女兒動了歪念，兩人也因此成為了斗氣冤家。　　經多次的交往之后，朱麗娥才發現自己誤會了雅歷，便對他完全改觀了，有困難的時候麗娥也主動找雅歷幫忙。麗娥本來就是個離婚婦人，遇到了同樣感情空虛的雅歷，兩人之間很快便滋長了愛情。這時，雅歷的前女友碧姬卻回來要求復合……

　　該取材于武穴市4000多名黨員下社區、進小區，通過黨建引領老舊小區改造的故事：建于上世紀七、八十年代的老油廠小區，有9棟樓160多戶居民，是一個典型的無物管、無主管部門、無人防物防的“三無”小區。這里許多居民亂搭亂建雜物間、小車棚，下水道破損無人維修，生活污水橫流，居住環境十分惡劣。有條件的住戶外出購房搬離后，又將這里的房子出租出去，導致這兒的居住環境更加復雜。龍潭社區主任張昊陽借老舊小區改造之際，做活黨建+的文章，派出社區片警樊玉鋒任第一支部書記，引導居民開展“法治、德治、自治”。在社區工作者和小區黨支部+業主委員會的共同努力下，解決了一批居民急難愁盼的事，終于讓居住在這里的近千名群眾生活出現了新業態。
