劇情簡介
影片講述在種族偏見根深蒂固的美國南方小鎮，白人男主人公漢克（比利·鮑勃·湯頓暫無內容飾）與黑人婦女萊茜婭（哈莉·貝瑞飾）一段糾纏在死亡與種族歧視下的愛情故事。漢克生長在極端種族主義的保守白人家庭，深受父親影響。在父親退休后，漢克接手負責執行死刑。在剛剛處死了一個黑人死囚后，漢克意想不到的邂逅了他的妻子萊茜婭。很快，兩人墜入情網。可在種族觀念保守僵化的環境下，這不可思議的命運交集，會像舞蹈般纏綿動人還是舉步維艱呢？

However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
