本片是一部以大學生宮田陽彩（南沙良 飾）為主角的“青春逃亡故事”。陽彩一邊上學，一邊從早到晚忙于打工和家務。雖然母親并未對她施加暴力，但她一直被母親口中的“愛”束縛著，在這種溫柔卻令人窒息的絕望和對人生的失落感中度日。她定期給母親送錢，照顧她，卻始終感受不到真正的自由和幸福。某天，陽彩在打工的地方邂逅了同班同學江永雅（馬場富美加 飾）。這次相遇，悄然改變了陽彩的人生軌跡。
